The first points are on the board in the Sharp EIT Monday Twilight Series, with Shine On (Phil Herscovics) and Great White (Bob Penty) claiming victory in Race 3.
Following the cancellation of the opening two races due to lockdown, the Monday Twilight fleet was finally able to get back on the water, with 21 boats on the start line.
Ginger (Leslie Green) was first across the line in Division 1, with Herscovics’ Sydney 38 Shine On taking the win on corrected time to lead the overall standings from RumChaser (Andrew Butler) and Cyrene 3 (Michael Selby)
It was a perfect start for Penty’s Beneteau Oceanis 41 Great White in Division 2, quickest around the shortened course to take line honours and the handicap win, from Tula (Ivan Resnekov) and Selkie (Tony Booth).
