An exciting unique experience awaits you at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. With a rich sailing history, the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia is regarded as one of the world’s premier yacht clubs and is located in the heart of Sydney.
Nestled along the beautiful Rushcutters Bay foreshore, each sailing experience can be tailored to your specific needs and can include function space at the Club prior or following your on-water experience.
The Club owns a fleet of ten identical 7m Elliott 7 keel boats which can accommodate up to four guests per yacht. These yachts are fast, stable and fun, with an open skiff style cockpit meaning they are easy to sail and great for teamwork development. For pricing and a sample run sheet, view our brochure below.
Corporate Sailing is offered from October to April and can be tailored with food and beverage packages from award-winning cuisine company The Boathouse Group.
SailPass at CYCA
SailPass is a way for people who aren’t already a Member of a sailing club to be eligible to sail in CYCA races in accordance with Rule 46 of the 2021-24 Racing Rules of Sailing. SailPass offers a flexible, accessible and affordable introduction to sailing for people new to the sport and, importantly for SailPass holders and boat-owners alike, provides personal injury insurance cover through Australian Sailing.
SailPass will be available at the CYCA at no charge. All participants in corporate sailing experiences must either be a member of a yacht club or have a SailPass.
