The 2022/23 Sharp EIT Monday Twilight Series wrapped up with Race 18 on Monday 20 March.

In 12-14 knots from the SSE, the non-pointscore race took the fleet up to Taylors Bay and around Shark Island to finish in Rushcutters Bay (two laps for the four Division 1 boats).

Chris Warren’s Mount Gay 30 Likalizard (Division 2) and Eric Frank’s Grand Soleil 44 Bliss (Division 1) were first over the line.

Michael Selby’s X412 Cyrene 3 claimed the handicap wins in Division 1, ahead of Bliss, Carla M (Mark Michalowsky) and Sine Wave (Greg Mason) on PHS.

Division 2 honours were decided by just one second on corrected time as Russell Dixon steered the Farr 1020 Farrst Company to victory ahead of Shane Diethelm’s Etchells Sumatra.

Ross Karp’s Beneteau First 25.7 Papou Geli, winner of the Division 2 season pointscore, was third.

The divisional placegetters will be celebrated at the CYCA’s Summer Season Prizegiving on Friday 12 May 2023. Owners will receive an invitation from the Sailing Office.
