PHOTOS & RESULTS | Income Asset Management Wednesday Twilight Series – Race 18

Outlaw, Sommerbreeze, Into the Mystic and Tanami were the divisional winners from the penultimate race of the 2022/23 Income Asset Management Wednesday Twilight Series.

The extended Summer in Sydney continued on the Harbour for Race 18, though light breeze led to a shortened course for the fleet of 71 boats.

Alan and Tom Quick’s Farr 40 Outlaw claimed Division A honours, from Eric Frank’s Bliss and David Currie’s Nizam.

Hans Sommer steered his Cavalier 350SL Somerbreeze to victory in Division B, from Whistling Kite (Kym Evans) and Foreign Affair (Matt Wilkinson).

Arthur Psaltis’ Hanse 430E Into the Mystic made it back-to-back wins in Division C, a special family tribute to Arthur’s late mother Margaret, who passed in the same month as his father Bill.

Soindika (Timothy Atkins) was second, from Sumatra (Shane Diethelm).

David Mandelberg’s Cole 40 Tanami won Division D, joined on the podium by Zin Zin (Tom Isbell) and Aquanimity (Raymond Schwartz).

The final race of the 2022/23 Income Asset Management Wednesday Twilight Series is on Wednesday 22 March. Entries are open until 1200hrs on the day of the race.
