Enigma and Scarlett O’Hara claimed their first wins of the 2021/22 Sharp EIT Monday Twilight Series, in Race 2 of the Summer Pointscore.
In 7-10 knots of breeze, Leslie Green’s MC38 Ginger was fastest around the course in Division 1, followed by Darryl Hodgkinson’s Carkeek 40 Victoire and Steven Thomas’ Farr 40 Enigma.
Enigma scooped the overall win on corrected time, 13 seconds ahead of Phil Herscovics’ Sydney 38 Shine On – Team Callendina. Matt Wilkinson’s Farr 30 Foreign Affair returned to the series with a third-place finish.
Robert Skol’s Scarlett O’Hara was fastest over the line and on corrected time in Division 2, securing back-to-back podium finishes to start the year.
George Waldthausen’s Cavalier 350SL’s Superfine – the divisional winner last week – was second overall, while Fernando Tiglio skippered the J/24 Checkmate to third place.
The Sharp EIT Monday Twilight Series returns on Monday 31 January.
