The second CYCA Club Lunch of 2024 was a great success, as usual there was lots of chatting, great prizes making it a fantastic day. With the added element of a fun trivia about the Sydney Harbour Bridge, in recognition of its opening on 19th March 1932.   Dressed in green, top scorer Mat Clarke was awarded the CYCA wine prize for his efforts. Other top scorers were Toni and Fraser Johnston, winning a copy of the CYCA Cookbook (available for purchase at CYCA Reception or online for just $20 with member discount), and John and Roz Cameron, who won a handmade bag donated by Helen Kosterman. 

There were lots of regulars plus some first time attendees, including Ian Treleaven, Deborah Blankenberg and Di Pearson. Suzanne Abbiss enjoyed the January lunch so returned  Members also invited guests to join them, Pam Cassidy was accompanied by son Michael and Trish Rydge was joined by her friend Mim. 

Regulars included Kathryn Dixon, who won the lucky door prize of an autographed copy of Rags to Riches, John Sheridan, Peter Cox, Mike Fletcher, Reece Nodalt, Pat and Chris Iacono, Keith Kosterman and Selina Wang who also won a handmade bag. Later arrivals were Bev and Bob Brenac, who detoured on the way to visit their latest great grandchild, and Greta Archbold who fitted in her regular Bridge (of the other kind) beforehand. 

All members, new or long standing, Full, Country, Pathways or Associate, younger or older, male or female, retired or working (or in between), sailors or social, all are welcome to attend the lunch and to bring a guest.

The lunches are held on the 3rd Tuesday of alternate months.  The dates for the rest of the year are:  

• Tuesday 21st May
• Tuesday 16th July, 
• Tuesday 17th September
• Tuesday 19th November 

so please add the dates to your diary, register now,  and come along and join us for a relaxing, social get together.
