Sail Port Stephens Commodore’s Cup wraps up

On a final day of rain squalls that had held off all week and a messy swell at the harbour entrance, the decision was made to race inshore on Saturday.

CYCA’s Robert Kelly was crowned the overall winner of the Sail Port Stephens Commodore’s Cup (PHS) with his RP52 Virago – after two strong wins and a second place from the five races.

Congratulations also to Noel Cornish and the crew of Indi who finished 2nd in Division 1 of the Port Stephens Trophy (ORC Club). Virago placed 3rd in the passage racing series.
