The CYCA’s Cruising Committee invites Members to join a get-together at Port Hacking over the October Long Weekend (1-3 October 2022).

Members can cruise to Port Hacking at their own leisure and enjoy a rendezvous with like-minded sailors.

For those relatively new to cruising, this is also an excellent opportunity to learn a few tips, or simply enjoy a relaxing weekend away.

Here is a guide of what to expect:

Saturday 1 October

• Sail down to Gunnamatta Bay and anchor just south of the Royal Motor Yacht Club.
• Enjoy dinner on board or at RMYC.

Sunday 2 October

• A local expert has offered to escort the fleet, enabling fuss-free navigation along the channel to explore the upper waters of Port Hacking, to South West Arm.
• Raft in groups and explore the Royal National Park.
• Have dinner on board (and maybe watch the NRL Grand Final!).
• Partake in a treasure hunt and share some quality time with the other crews on land.

Monday 3 October

• Exit the serene anchorage and sail back to Sydney Harbour.
