This weekend, the Youth Sailing Academy (YSA) is celebrating 25 years of educating and enriching young sailing talent in this country. As part of the YSA’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations, Australian Sailing has selected our Club to host the Australian Match Racing Championship (AMRC) this year, which includes both men’s and women’s competitions.
This Sunday 23 September, teaming up with the Finals of the AMRC, the Youth Sailing Academy is hosting an event aboard Rosman Cruises’ Royale to spectate the what is sure to be some great racing, while celebrating the YSA. The Finals will be raced in the vicinity of Rushcutters Bay, with a cash bar, snacks and live commentary of the racing available as you cruise on beautiful Sydney Harbour.
Long-time supporter of the CYCA and YSA, Noakes Group, owner of Rosman Cruises, have donated the hire of Royale, enabling us to make this a free event for everyone. Royale will depart from CYCA Marina A Arm at 11:45am, and return approximately 3:45pm, with the AMRC Finals presentation following.
