It was a light and gray start for Race 4 of the Short Haul Pointscore with nine yachts making it out to the start line off Point Piper. The harbour was busstling as entrants in the Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore Series prepared themselves to start shortly after the Short Haul entrants.
The evening presented light south easterly breezes with some intermittent rain showers which brought with them varying conditions and breeze strengths.
After completing the course which was shortened from the full length, Ian Guanaria’s One More No More was placed first ahead of Peter Franki’s Salt Shaker and Next owned by Robert Hunt, Jon Short, Miles Bastick and Greg Gleeson.
The next race in the series will be the Sydney to Pittwater race 2 November 2019.
