Back again by popular demand, the CYCA has confirmed a second vessel to allow our Members, family and friends to once again witness sailing history from the water.

The Matilda III, operated by our partners Captain Cook Cruises, has been chartered to capture the action on Sydney Harbour of one of Australia’s greatest sporting spectacles – the start of the 75th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race!

While the Matilda III isn’t granted access to the exclusion zone, the vessel still provides a great way for you to catch all the action of the start of the 75th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and be a part of our great race.

The vessel departs from Pier 26 Wharf outside Sydney Aquarium at 11:30am on Boxing Day, returning to Pier 26 at approx. 2:30pm.

Tickets include three hours of on-water fun, canapes, a small buffet station and desserts. In addition, two drinks tokens are issued to each guest – with beer, wine, sparkling, soft drinks and juices available from the open bar.

Adults $180, children 4-15 $150, kids under 4 free.
