A dedicated and passionate group of volunteers helped make the 2022 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race possible.

CYCA Commodore Arthur Lane welcomed some of those volunteers for a special evening at the CYCA to thank them for their efforts over an exciting and busy period at the Club.

From organising information and equipment for competitors, to working on the Radio Relay Vessel and much more, volunteers took on a wide range of roles throughout the 2022 race.

They gathered at the Club for a meal and to reflect on a successful return for the Great Race.

Vice Commodore Sam Haynes also shared superb insight into Celestial’s Tattersall Cup win.
