The Club has recently seen a wonderful group of new volunteers join our on-water race management team.

A very warm welcome to Andrew Martin, Eric Blake, Michael Fletcher and George Astudillo who have all taken up duties on the start boat Offshore and beyond.

Led by the very capable hands of volunteer and Club stalwarts Steve Kidson and Tracey Johnstone, our new volunteers are learning everything there is to know about on-water race management from start sequences to time-keeping to monitoring the all-important finish line.

The Club is always looking for on-water volunteers to help conduct our very busy schedule of races. If you’re looking to challenge yourself, learn new skills, contribute to the Club or just to spend some time on beautiful Sydney Harbour, volunteering with CYCA could be perfect for you!
