Thank you to everyone for coming to the Women in Sailing event this Tuesday 19 December. We were delighted to hear all the panelists share their stories and successes in all areas of the sailing world.

Olivia Price

CYCA YSA Alum Olivia Price is currently campaigning in the 49erFX class for the 2024 Paris Olympics with fellow YSA alum Evie Haseldine. Price and Haseldine secured Australia’s place in the 49erFX class for the 2024 Paris Olympics with their Bronze Medal at the Allianz World Championships in the Netherlands this past August.

Felicity Nelson

Felicity Nelson, an accomplished Sydney sailor, recently completed her 25th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, becoming the second woman to achieve this milestone after Adrienne Cahalan. Despite her significant accomplishment, Felicity remains modest and avoids the limelight.

Alice Parker

Alice Parker, assumes the role of navigator for URM Group. Her extensive experience spans various boats, including URM, Mercury Racing, and Pretty Woman. Actively participating in offshore racing and match racing, Alice brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team.

Lisa Darmanin

Thank you to Lisa Darmanin for hosting this wonderful event. Lisa is a two-time Olympic sailor, SailGP commentator for the 78th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
