Briefing – 2022/23 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore

The official briefing for the 2022/23 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore will be held at 1800hrs on Wednesday 21 September. Competitors are invited to attend either in-person at the CYCA or online via Zoom. Further details will be shared with competitors ahead of the briefing.

Flinders Islet Race (Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore)

The second race of the 2022/23 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore is the 88nm Flinders Islet Race.  The race starts near Point Piper and takes the fleet down the NSW coast to round Flinders Islet, approximately 1nm east off Port Kembla Harbour, before returning to finish in Sydney Harbour. Tollgate Islands Race (Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore)

The third race of the 2022/23 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore is the 260nm Tollgate Island Race. Starting at 1855hrs on Friday evening, the fleet will head south to round Tollgate Islands, which sit off Batemans Bay, and head back to the finish line off Watsons Bay. RACE WEBSITE

Bird Island Race (Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore)

The fourth race of the 2022/23 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore is the 83nm Bird Island Race. With a morning start, competitors sail from Sydney Harbour to Bird Island (approximately 3nm north east of Norah Head), before returning to Sydney Harbour to finish.  RACE WEBSITE

Cabbage Tree Island Race (Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore)

The fifth race of the 2022/23 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore is the 172nm Cabbage Tree Island Race. The race starts on Friday evening, near Point Piper.  The fleet then heads north to Cabbage Tree Island (just north of Port Stephens) and returns to finish in Sydney Harbour.  RACE WEBSITE

Flinders Islet Race (ACSBWPS)

The Flinders Islet Race is an 88nm race.  The race starts on a Saturday morning near Point Piper on Sydney Harbour.  The fleet proceeds out Sydney Heads and tracks south down the coast to round Flinders Islet, approximately 1nm east off Port Kembla Harbour, Wollongong, before returning to finish in Sydney Harbour.

Bird Island Race (ACSBWPS)

The 83nm Bird Island Race will this year be held on a Saturday. With a morning start, competitors sail from Sydney Harbour to Bird Island (approximately 3nm north east of Norah Head), before returning to Sydney Harbour to finish.
