This week’s Ocean Pointscore was hosted by Middle Harbour Yacht Club as Race 4 of the Pointscore. It was a grey and gloomy day with rain clouds threatening to dampen the mood.

Gordon Ketelbey’s Zen was in fine form this week taking first place in both IRC and ORCi overall, as well as second on PHS.

First overall in PHS was David Pescud and his crew on SWD Wot Eva, with Ian Short and the Bush Paul Group in third, showing a strong weekend for the 50-foot contingent of the fleet.

IRC saw Bush Paul Group sneak into second behind Zen with Darryl Hodkinson’s Victoire rounding out the podium.

Julien Farren-Price and his crew on About Time rounded out the podium in third on ORCi behind Zen and Bush Paul Group.

The next race in the series will be Saturday 7 December when the crew will combine with the CYCA Trophy series entrants to tackle a short ocean race along the Sydney Coastline.
