Ten winners and placegetters of the CYCA Summer Sailing Program will tomorrow (Saturday 21 March 2009) compete in the Mount Gay Rum Top Jocks Regatta to determine who will be the Champion of Champions.
The list of competitors includes:

- Team Brilliant (1st IRC Division 3, Grant Thornton Short Ocean Pointscore) – Howard Piggott, George Piggott, Christopher Palmer and Alex Paton
- About Time (1st IRC Division 1, Grant Thornton Short Ocean Pointscore & Ocean Pointscore) – Max Poyser, Sam Dickson, David Eastwood
- Shortwave (3rd IRC Division 1, Short Ocean Pointscore)- Matt Short, Christine Short, Mat Smejlis, Sarah Short
- Love Byte (3rd PHS Division, Ocean Pointscore)- Anthony Pickering, Jason Thomas, Alex Ward

The regatta will be sailed on the YSA fleet of Elliott 6’s to ensure a level playing field and is designed to be a fun but competitive day of fleet racing. The Champion will be decided in a best-of 6 race series with each race counting towards the overall regatta Pointscore.
For the Top Jocks, the prize that awaits them is a framed pair of white ‘jocks’ and for each crew member a bottle of Mount Gay Extra Old Rum, and of course bragging rights at being crowned the ‘CYCA Top Jocks’.
