135 guests danced the night away at the CYCA Winter Ball on Saturday 24 May. The dance floor was packed with stylish dancers and stayed that way all evening thanks to the band  “The New Trocaderos.”  It was a glamorous event with a black tie dress code, dance card for the ladies, and a 3 course gourmet dinner. 

Fierce bidding at the the silent auction raised $6,000 for Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick,  with the Walsh’s successfully bidding for the trip for 2 to Hamilton Island, the Panther crew getting 2 hours coaching from Olympic Coach Mike Fletcher, and Fast Eddy (chef Ed Halmagyi) will conduct a cooking class for Jude Billingham and friends.  New dad Jeff Beaton took the 4 hour cruise on Sydney 60, and Don Telford added to his America’s Cup collection with the framed jacket pockets from the 1987 and 1992 campaigns.  Thanks to all for supporting the auction and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
