A cocktail party was held at the Club on 25 January to thank the many volunteers who gave their time to help with the 60th anniversary Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

Volunteers from the Information Centre, the Radio Relay Vessel, Race Management and Safety Scrutineers were represented, and enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with their friends old and new and exchange experiences over drinks and delicious L Eat nibbles.

Commodore Martin James and CEO Mark Woolf thanked the volunteers for their invaluable contributions to the success of this most important event in the Club’s calendar, and expressed the hope that they had found the experience enjoyable and rewarding, and would be back next year!

The week prior, Commodore James and representative from the Board hosted a similar cocktail party to thank the Club’s staff for their efforts during the busy period.
