Entries for the Audi Sydney Offshore Newcastle Race close on Friday 13 March 2009 at 1700 hours.

The second edition of the Audi Sydney Offshore Newcastle Yacht Race will commence at 12noon on Friday 27 March 2009 and marks the final race in the CYCA’s Blue Water Pointscore.

The 213 nautical mile Cat 2 race will start in Sydney Harbour and take the fleet to a laid mark around 20 nautical miles east of Crowdy Head before the yachts head for Newcastle and the finish in the Hunter River.

Entries have been received from Andrew Short’s Andrew Short Marine Shockwave 5, Graeme Wood’s Wot Now and Wot Yot, Anthony Patterson’s Tow Truck, Kym Butler’s One For the Road and current Blue Water pointscore leader David Beak’s Mr Beaks Ribs.
