The Associates Committee held their Annual General Meeting on the evening of Monday 21 July, and it was convened by newly elected Rear Commodore John Cameron. 

At the meeting Jeannette York, founding member of the Associates Committee in 1963, tendered her resignation.  Jeannette has contributed greatly to the club over these many years, but has now decided to stand down to pursue her own personal interests.  Jeannette said “My involvement on this committee has been more than half my life, so you will understand my decision has not been an easy one”. 

Pam Messenger paid tribute to Jeannette “On behalf of all the Associate members, we sincerely thank you for your contribution, and wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.”

Vice President–  Kendi Kellett 

Treasurer – Cathie Mulherin  

Secretary – Janey Treleaven 

Committee members –  Barbara Buttery, Liz Carpenter, Patricia Cox, Jennifer Dahl, Fiona Davies,  Pam Emerson, Amanda Lulham, Irene McAuliffe, and Pam Neate.
