On Sunday, 5 May, the second race in the LGT Crestone Winter Series was held in light and variable wind conditions, with plenty of rain to offer. Due to the persistent rain, there were plenty of holes on the race course leaving little margin for error with some competitors parking up due to the lack of breeze.

Despite the uninspiring and dull conditions, there were still 70 yachts that lined up to compete for the overall Pointscore.
