Les’ locks to be trimmed for a good cause

UPDATE: Given the current COVID-19 restrictions, the trimming of Les’ locks will be postponed until a more suitable time.

Stay tuned for revised details.

You may have noticed Les Goodridge, a 27-year CYCA Member and long-time Sailing Committee Member, growing his hair over the last couple of years.

He’s not just forgotten to get a haircut; he’s doing it for a reason.

Les will donate his hair to Variety Australia, helping to make wigs for children living with cancer. His locks have reached the desired 35cm length and the time has come for the big cut.

Aside from donating his valuable hair, Les is raising money for the Sir David Martin Foundation, which provides support to vulnerable young Australians.

Tax deductible donations can be made on the Sir David Martin Foundation website.
