This past weekend, 17 and 18 February, Peter Merrington, Ian McKillop, and George Boulden from the CYCA placed second in the 2024 Etchells WA State Championship, hosted by the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.

Despite challenging conditions and glass-offs, with several AP flags as a consequence, and only five of nine planned races completed, they demonstrated remarkable skill securing a well-deserved 2nd place aboard First Tracks.
