66 boats will take on the 172nm return journey to Cabbage Tree Island (4nm NE of Port Stephens) in the penultimate race in the six-race 2023/24 Audi Centre Sydney Blue Water Pointscore. It is the last hit-out under race conditions for crews ahead of the Rolex Sydney Hobart.
The race doubles as the first race in the 2023 Raymarine Australian Maxi Championship – with passage racing to continue on Sunday and Monday and winding up with the SOLAS Big Boat Challenge at 1230hrs on Tuesday 6 December.
