The Youth Sailing Academy (YSA) is continuing their jam-packed racing program with two teams currently competing at the Warren Jones International Youth Regatta in Perth, WA.

Day one saw both teams in the top four positions with Harry Price and his DownUnder Racing team representing the CYCA (who won the 2018 Warren Jones Regatta) finish the day on five wins, whilst Tom Grimes and his CYCA team went on to have six wins from seven races.

Grimes’ team of James Hodgson, Louis Schofield, Max Paul and Ben Vercoe have been able to come out to a strong start in the opening races.

“We’re really happy with day one and how the team have come together. It’s great to get out on these bigger boats and be able to get the crew working well,” said Grimes.

The teams are currently completing the second half of the round robin with a solid start to making their way in to the next round of racing and the knockout series.
