The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron is this week set to host the annual Hardy Cup International Match Racing Regatta, one of the events of a long Australasian Youth match racing season.
This week will see 13 teams from around the world do battle over four days to see who will be the victor and lay their hands on the cup. Six of the skippers are ranked in the top 25 teams in the world with crews making their way from countries including New Zealand, USA, Denmark, Sweden, New Caledonia and Australia.
This weeks racing will see two teams from our Youth Sailing Academy skippered by Harry Price and James Hodgson give it their all. Price is coming off the back of a win at the Warren Jones Regatta last week but will be up against some stiff competition with last years winner Nick Egnot-Jones who is currently ranked No. 2 in the world back to defend his title.
Racing will be taking place from Monday 3 February to Thursday 3 February.
