The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia’s Youth Sailing Academy is pleased to release information regarding Winter Squads for 2020. Open to sailors 13-25 years old, winter squad will begin in May and provide sailors with the opportunity to participate in local, national and international events across both match racing and fleet racing disciplines.
Over the past four seasons, the YSA has won 7 national titles and 3 World Championships, making it one of the world’s leading youth sailing academies for keel-boat development. Sailors are also strongly encouraged and supported to transition into Club racing, including the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Squadron.

Applications will be open till 0900hrs on Friday 17 April, upon which the CYCA Youth Sailing Academy will review all submissions and respond to each sailor regarding their application status for their preferred squad.
