The world’s largest fun-run is on again as the Sun Herald City2Surf presented by Westpac takes over Sydney this Sunday 12 August. Last year, 80,700 people took part in the annual event, and now, in its 48th year of operation, organisers are touting another amazing turn-out for this year’s Run.
The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA), in partnership with Blond Catering have joined the movement this year, providing fresh, healthy special menu options, available for breakfast and lunch. Come down and enjoy our beautiful city and water views from the temporary Clubhouse, and indulge on some healthy delicious fare.
“Blond Catering focus on including a range of meals in our menu from healthy and nutritious through to decadent desserts,” says Chef Nicholas.
“The team and I have enjoyed creating two nourishing specials for this great event, whether you’re participating in the race or cheering on the runners we hope you can join us.”
The CYCA would also like to advise of road closures occurring around the Club for the event. William Street, Bayswater Road, and New South Head road through to Ocean Street, will close from 6am until 12pm on the day while New South Head Road east of Ocean Street through to Newcastle Street will close from 7am until 1pm. More details on road closures can be found on the City2Surf website.
We encourage the use of public transport to get to the Club during this time, and wish to advise that our Clubhouse is now dog friendly. The CYCA wishes all of our Members competing a safe and fun-filled race!
