Zoe Taylor
CYCA’s Ocean Rookie of the Year in 2017, Zoe has since gone on to become a Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race champion, winning IRC Division 3 in 2018 with her Cookson 12 Grace O’Malley. An investment banker, project manager and around-the-world sailor Zoe’s inspiration comes from her boats’ very own namesake, the 15th century ‘Pirate Queen of the Seas’ Grace O’Malley, a strong, resourceful woman who ruled the Irish Sea. Zoe has set her sights now beyond the Rolex Sydney Hobart Division victory, to one day become Overall Winner of the Great Race.

Lisa Darmanin
Making her Olympic debut at Rio de Janeiro in 2016 in the Nacra 17 mixed multi-hull, Lisa brought home the Silver Medal alongside teammate and cousin Jason Waterhouse. The pair have been sailing together for nine years, having claimed their first overseas medal as a team in 2009 winning the ISAF Youth Worlds in Buzios, Brazil. Lisa grew up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and began sailing at Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club at the age of nine. Lisa, who was also named Australian Female Sailor of the Year in 2015 and 2016, is campaigning towards Tokyo 2020 on the foiling Nacra 17, again with cousin Jason, to try turn Silver in to Gold. She recently won the World Cup in Miami and the Olympic Test Event on Japanese waters in 2018.

Adrienne Cahalan
Adrienne sailed her first Sydney Hobart Race in 1984, started sailing as a pro sailor in 1988 on 18 foot skiffs, was admitted to practise law in 1991and raced her first Whitbread as navigator 1993-1994. Adrienne is best known for her extensive and successful career in yacht racing as a navigator from 1988 to date including 18 foot skiffs, 27 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races (6 line honours, 2 times overall winner and 2018 most recent 3rd overall), 3 circumnavigations, Whitbread and Volvo round the world races, 5 multihull world speed sailing records including the 24 hour record and breaking the Round the World Record with Steve Fossett on the catamaran Cheyenne in 2004 (58 days).
