With bush fires flaring up on the New South Wales north coast, Sydney Harbour was covered in a hazy fog which meant that yachts almost slipped out of visibility as they made their way up towards their first turning mark. This, however, did not deter the 62 entrants who made it out for the evening’s race in an 8-15 knot north-easterly breeze.
Division A was won by Peter Franki’s Eagle Rock followed by Dean Harrigan’s Playstation 4 and Alan & Tom Quicks Outlaw.
Division B saw John Markos and Michael Delaney’s Eye Appeal take first place ahead of Ray Stone’s Razors Edge and Matt Wilkonson’ Foreign Affair.
Division C was claimed by Rob & Sue Segaert’s Sante with Garu Buttery’ Atao and Robert Lewin’s Leeward in second and third respectively.
Division D was led by Stephen Wawn’s Pleasure II ahead of Joost Kerdijk’s Heaven and Les Katz’s Mammoth.
