The Spring Series, sailed on Sydney Harbour, is comprised of four Pointscore races throughout the month of August each year.
Racing includes divisions in IRC, should numbers allow, along with the traditional performance (PHS) handicap. Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker divisions will be conducted. Competitors entering with a female helmsperson for each of the four-race Spring Series will also be eligible for the Women’s Spring Pointscore, which may operate as a sub-series within the Overall Pointscore Series.
Races are a scratch start and commence at 1400hrs, allowing competitors to enjoy lunch at the CYCA, before heading out on the water to enjoy the best of the afternoon Spring breeze. The 2026 series will consist of four races to be held on each Sunday of August.
Introduced as an exciting new initiative in 2013 to bridge the gap between Winter and Summer racing, the Spring Series continues to gain momentum.
