Saturday’s David Burke Memorial was conducted in some exciting conditions with a strong and gusty southerly flowing across Sydney Harbour before yachts made their way out to the racecourse. With the conditions as they stood the decision was made to bring the racecourse inside the harbour and tackle the Alternate Harbour Course.
With the stronger breeze and gloomy conditions, the number of entrants was down but they will be looking forward to the next race in the series coming up on Australia Day with the 184th Australia Day Regatta.
