With a clear blue sky and still Sydney Harbour it was a looking slow as yachts made their way out to the start line off Point Piper. By the time the race was underway the breeze had filled in with a light but manageable easterly breeze.

Even with the warm weather, it was a slow and challenging race all the way up the coastline to Barrenjoey Headland and into the finish.

Saturday’s race from Sydney to Pittwater was led in PHS by Cyril Latimer’s Love Byte ahead of Neil Burling’s Baltic Lady and Michael Selby’s Cyrene 3.

Ian Guanaria’s One More No More took first place in IRC with Cyrene 3 and Hunt/Short/Bastick/Gleeson’s Next in second and third respectively.
