The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race Corporate Lunch was once again back this year kicking off the festivities which lead into and build the excitement before the Great Race.

The Luncheon, as it has done for its short but successful history, was held in support of the CYCA’s Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) Trusts. Guests were able to buy raffle tickets, enter for a chance to win a lucky door prize as well as bidding in a live auction.

This year saw two sailing greats, Matt Allen AM and Peter Shipway join Gordon Bray AM for an in-depth panel discussion about the history, exciting times and notable stories from many accumulated years of racing Sydney Hobarts.

The CYCA would like to recognise and thank our Partners and supporters once again for another amazing event, with thousands of dollars raised for the most worthy of causes in our sport, the safety of our sailors lives at sea.
