The beautiful weather which graced Sydney over the weekend continued in to Monday with more sun and another building north easterly.

Crews raced a full north east course with a 15-18 knot breeze which settled in a NNE direction through the afternoon. With gusts flowing down the race course, crews were treated to some exciting rides with many crossing the finish line in Rushcutters Bay at full flight.

Even with crews focusing hard during racing, looking around they were treated to yet another stunning sunset over the Sydney skyline before returning to the Club.

This week however did see two yachts retire during the race, one with gear breakage and the second electing not to finish.

Divisional winners included Darryl Hodgkinson’s Victoire in PHS Div1 and IRC Div1 with Terry Wise’s Bandit first in PHS Div2.
