From Monday 11 to Friday 15 December, the world’s best youth match racers will descend on Sydney Harbour for the 2023 World Sailing Youth Match Racing World Championship. Racing will be conducted on three different race areas, including Rushcutters Bay, Double Bay and Athol Bay.

To conduct a fair World Championship, the Club is requesting all vessels who intend to view the racing on water to register with the event so Course Marshall’s can coordinate spectator vessel zones and commentary each day. Yacht Owners will receive daily newsletters with the intended race area, schedule, forecast and anchoring zones during racing. Please register via the form below.

Racing Schedule

Monday 11 & Tuesday 12 December – Qualifying Round Robin Racing from 1200 – 1800hrs

Wednesday 13 December – Repechage Round from 1200 – 1630hrs

Thursday 14 December – Quarter-Finals between 1200 – 1600hrs & Semi-Finals between 1600 – 1800hrs

Friday 15 December – Semi Finals between 1200 – 1400hrs & Finals between 1500 – 1700hrs
