The Great Veterans Race is open to single hulled self-righting displacement boats only with a launch date prior to or in 1975, and have competed in a Sydney Hobart Yacht race or other “veteran” yachts invited by the organising authority. An IOR division has been added for the 2022 Great Veterans Race, open to any yacht with a launch date after 1975 and prior to 1991 that has competed in at least one Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
