Summary Buy two Aperols in a single visit to CYCA on a Friday night between 1 May and 27 June 2026, scan the QR code at the bar, and enter your details. One draw on Wednesday 1 July 2026. One Helly Hansen prize pack. Winner’s choice of prize.
1. Promoter The promoter of this prize draw is the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, 1 New Beach Road, Darling Point NSW 2027. Contact: functions@cyca.com.au.
2. The prize draw The Deck after Dark Aperol Giveaway (“the Draw”) is a single prize draw conducted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (“the Club”) during the Deck after Dark winter campaign, running from 1 May 2026 to 27 June 2026.
3. Eligibility
- The Draw is open to persons aged 18 years or over.
- Entrants must be physically present at the CYCA Clubhouse, 1 New Beach Road, Darling Point NSW 2027 at the time of entry.
- Employees and contractors of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
- Entry constitutes the entrant’s agreement to these Terms and Conditions in full.
4. How to enter
- Purchase two (2) Aperol Spritzes in a single visit to CYCA on a Friday evening during the campaign period.
- Scan the QR code displayed at the bar.
- Submit the entry form with your first name, last name, and a valid email address.
- Submission of the form constitutes one (1) entry into the Draw.
- One (1) entry per person per visit. Multiple visits during the campaign period will each generate a separate eligible entry.
- Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted without a valid Friday evening visit will be disqualified.
- No purchase of additional items or payment of any additional fee is required beyond the two Aperol Spritzes.
5. Draw period and closing date
- Entries open Friday 1 May 2026 and close at 11:59pm AEST on Friday 27 June 2026.
- The draw will be conducted on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
- Entries received after 11:59pm AEST on 27 June 2026 will not be included in the draw.
6. Prize
- One (1) prize will be awarded.
- The winner may choose one of the following prizes:
- Option A: Helly Hansen Daybreaker Fleece Jacket (RRP $130). Available in Opal Green (men’s sizing) or Barely Blue (women’s sizing), subject to stock availability in the winner’s preferred size at the time of award.
- Option B: Helly Hansen Varde Fleece and Crew Cap (combined RRP $175). Colour subject to availability at the time of award.
- The Club will contact the winner to confirm their prize choice and size before the prize is awarded.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
- If the winner’s preferred size or colour is unavailable, the Club will offer the closest available alternative in consultation with the winner.
- The prize must be collected from the CYCA Clubhouse within 30 days of notification, or as otherwise arranged with the Club. Uncollected prizes will be forfeited.
7. Draw process
- The draw will be conducted by a representative of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia at the CYCA Clubhouse on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
- Entries will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the campaign period.
- The draw is not open to public attendance.
8. Winner notification
- The winner will be notified by email to the address provided at entry within five (5) business days of the draw date.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days of the first notification attempt, or if the winner does not respond within that period, the Club reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner.
- Winners may be announced on CYCA’s social media channels and website. By entering, entrants consent to their first name and suburb being used for this purpose.
9. Privacy
- Personal information collected via the entry form (first name, last name, email address) will be used by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia to administer the Draw and to communicate with entrants and winners.
- Entrants’ details may be added to the CYCA mailing list. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any Club email.
- The Club will handle all personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Club’s Privacy Policy, available at cyca.com.au.
- The Club will not sell or share entrant information with third parties except as required to administer the Draw.
10. General conditions
- The Club reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits fraudulent entries, or breaches these Terms and Conditions.
- The Club reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Draw in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failure, fraud, or regulatory requirements.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Club excludes all liability in connection with the Draw, including any loss or damage arising from participation or the use of any prize.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights the entrant may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
11. Authorised under This is a prize draw conducted under the rules of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. No lottery permit is required for this type of promotional draw in New South Wales where prizes are awarded based on a random draw from eligible entrants and no fee is charged for entry beyond the ordinary purchase of goods.
