Halfway through the ILCA 7 World Championships hosted by Adelaide Sailing Club in South Australia, CYCA Honorary Member Matt Wearn moves into the top position after scoring first and third place in racing on Sunday 28 January.

Racing on Monday 29 January continues with Gold fleet. Wearn is one of six Aussies in Gold Fleet, with Australian Sailing Squad athletes Ethan McAullay, Luke Elliott, Zac Littlewood and Finn Alexander all making the cut – along with Australian Sailing Futures sailor Stefan Elliott-Shircore.

CYCA YSA sailor Will Sargent competed in the ILCA 7 Worlds as well, racing into 131st.
