The perfect way to start December – the CYCA Children’s Christmas Party was held on Sunday the 1st of December. 50 plus children attended and their smiling faces were mirrored by the parents, grandparent and great grandparents who accompanied them.

The face painter was at the top of his game with a queue of children waiting to put in their requests. Many of the children were talking of planning to get in early next year to make sure they had their place at the front of the line.The magical magician held everyone’s attention as she had the lion jumping hoops and many other tricks. In between all this, the children enjoyed nibbles and drinks.

Later in the afternoon the children were delighted to see Santa arrive, by boat of course. Assisted by a very able helper he visited the children and delivered gifts. The gifts varied and were perfect for every age. A departing treat from the lucky chocolate bowl was the perfect finish to a wonderful day.
