After almost three months in lockdown, CYCA Members relished the return of competitive racing, with the Wednesday Twilight Series officially opening the Summer Season Program.
26 boats took to Sydney Harbour for Race 3, following the cancellation of the series’ first two races due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The conditions on the start line belied the forecast as the sun shone through and a modest breeze of 9-13 knots rolled through the Harbour.
The first wins of the non-pointscore series went to The Goat (skippered by Daniel Hawkins), Razors Edge (Ray Stone), Reve (Kevin Whelan) and Aurora II (Marcus Gillezeau).
All divisional placegetters during the Wednesday Twilight Series will receive a prize from our friends at Brix Distillers.
