Marina

The CYCA, located just 10 mins from Sydney's CBD, offers its members a comprehensive support service to make owning a boat a pleasure.

We offer deep water berthing facilities comprising a floating marina for 213 boats and hardstand for up to 20 Etchells and J24s, and a crane for the use of owners.

The CYCA encourages all of those berthed on the marina to participate in the extensive sailing program.

New Berthing Applications

As there is a significant wait list, there are a few key points you should be aware of in the assessment and final approval of a new berthing application. The club’s priority is to accommodate boats who genuinely want to participate in CYCA sailing and cruising activities and Members who want to utilise club facilities.

Your progression on the wait list is therefore assessed not only on a suitable size berth becoming available, but against a set of criteria including, but not limited to, regular participation in CYCA sailing and cruising events, use of the dining and bar facilities and regular participation as a volunteer in club race management or supporting event activities.

Please contact our Marina office if you have any further questions regarding a berthing application.

On-site contract boating services such as riggers, shipwrights and ship chandlery ensure boat owners receive professional advice and good workmanship at all times.

Other services available at the CYCA include alfresco dining on the deck, bottle shop, ice with fuel available next door to the CYCA at d'Albora Marina.

Marina Berth/Hardstand Licence holders and visitors to the CYCA Marina

The washing down of vessels located on the CYCA Marina/Hardstand using the CYCA water supply is permitted using hand held hoses with trigger nozzles or high pressure cleaners. Fire hoses are not to be used for this purpose and may be used for fire fighting activities only.

Boat Detailers and Contractors

Boat Detailers/Contractors can use water supplied from the CYCA Marina provided that a hand held hose with a trigger nozzle or high pressure cleaner is used when cleaning.

Thank you for your co-operation.
